Dr A L C H has bedside manner, second to none. He listens, quickly processes what remedy is best at that time. He is a great family man; full of compassion. I saw 2 other doctors on two other appointments for the same medical matter, and I wish to share that Dr. Johnson also listens very well and has good medical skills. I believe the office needs better organizational & customer relations skills. Thank you Dr Dominick (whom I never met) for employing these 2 good doctors.

We visited the new location on Dixie Avenue a few nights ago when my husband had a bad ear infection. We arrived shortly before they closed but they did not turn us away. Everyone from the check-in desk to the doctor was extremely helpful and kind. Thank you!

not a good day

Location is excellent. Wait time was minimal. Doctor seemed caring and competent.

We had contact with 4 nurses. Two were okay but did not seem friendly or caring. One was very indifferent and the oldest one was downright mean. I won't make the mistake of going there again.

Improper Billing

Received a billfrom Lake Regional Urgent Care dated 9/25/2013 requesting Balance Due of $85 for a treatment in April 2008. Letter stated "This is our final attempt before being sent to collections."Called their billing 352-315-1651 and was told letter was in error and should have been for $10 because my insurance had limited the bill to $100 and we had paid $30 and the insurance had paid $60. Asked why we had not received a bill for over 5 years and when received it was in error, they claimed it was a computer error. The supervisor said she would send a revised bill and refused to listen to our position and hung up. Very rude.The problem is that when the services were provided , our insurance required us to pay a $30 fee and they paid the balance. Since that time our insurance has changed. Had the bill been timely it could have been easily resolved with the insurance company.Wonder how many people would be getting this type of bill and simply paid the $85,

I have told many of my friends...

I have told many of my friends and family about this place. They are quick but caring and really helped me get my diabetes under control. I am young so I do not have a primary doctor I consider these folks my source to health care. The doctors are all knowledgeable and the staff is very polite and receptive. I would recommend this place to anyone.

WHAT HAPPEN TO BEDSIDE MANNERS

im rating 3/5 star because i think i have always had a positive experience in this medical facility, most notably Dr. Proud and Nichol-Ohm(im not to sure of the spelling), but my latest experience got me concerned. Dr. Overcash practically threw bedside manners like it was out of style. This Dr. went straight to his computer asked me about my chief complaints and before I got finished, cut my line of thought and just plainly became rude in the process. telling me to allow him to finish. The point is I never got to some of the issues that bothered me in the first place as he started blurting out statements "listen to me", and that he was an "expert" in the field. Well, he should have started to become and expert with BASIC BEDSIDE MANNERS First before anything else. Just poor bedside manners very disappointing. Let's just say I was so shocked by his treatment that when I drove back home I just realized that I missed out on disclosing other important information that could have gotten a more patient doctor a better understanding of my situation. LAstly,he never checked my lung sounds, nor check the condition of throat, though I clearly had a hoarse voice..All the time, Dr. Overcash stayed near his computer and didnt get a chance to examine me..his computer got a better and thorough check than his patient. Needless to say, I went home very disappointed, frustrated, tired and confused.
