WARNING - TOTAL RIP-OFF - WORST EVER Charged me almost $500 to replace a $67 relay with 3 wires Refrigerator stopped working again less than 24 hours after repair Refused to come back to my house and repair Tried to trick me into paying more My refrigerator stopped cooling on New Years Eve, so I called a few places. We were having a party and AAA said they could have someone out same day, so despite the bad reviews, I said OK. I will usually try to figure it out myself, but had a lot going on and just needed it done. "Gil" showed up with his gear and told me that it was a either the compressor or the relay. If it was the compressor, a 1% chance as he described it, the cost would be $600. If it were the more likely issue, the relay, a 99% chance, then it would be the service fee ($45) plus the cost of part which I knew was $67 from Granger in Sterling. Gil replaced the relay and it started to cool. He then faked putting freon in the tank, sprayed some stuff on the coils. All of this took 30 min. I asked him a few times how much it was going to cost and he kept saying he needed to get the paperwork from his car. He gets all of his gear, puts it in the car and comes back to hand me a bill for $482. I obviously called him out and he tried to double talk me, give me the run around, said he didn't understand, etc. I let him know that I wasn't going to pay $482 and he became irate. I had had a similar repair made on another fridge a couple years ago and it only cost me $150. We settled on $300 after 20 minutes of arguing. He left and the fridge stopped working again 10 hours later, ruining all the food we had in our fridge fro our New Years Eve party... Like I said, these guys are the worst ever. If you call them you're asking to be ripped off.
