Leesburg, Va., Loudoun Crime Solvers works under the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is a law enforcement agency that works to preserve peace, deters crime, and maintains law and order. The office maintains field and special operations, administration and technical services, and corrections and courts security divisions. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office also has a criminal investigations division that handles cases related to homicide, rape, assault, robbery, burglary, auto theft, child abuse and fraud. Its patrol operations division is responsible for traffic accident investigations, truck safety inspections, school safety, and the coordination of community policing services. The office additionally maintains a traffic safety unit, bicycle patrol team and computer forensics section.
