For the 2008-09 school year, my son joined FACA for his 1st grade year. After a bumpy start, my son learned more than his previous private school. He had to relearn everything .His kindergarten year at the previous school was not a pleasant one which is why we enrolled him in FACA. The teacher was patient with him but of course concerned at the beginning. By Thanksgiving he learned everything his fellow classmates learned in kindergarten. Every problem I had was solved in a timely manner. The staff, teachers, and director were all nice and easy to get along with. My child and I were informed about everything that was going on. If the teacher had a problem or concerns, she would come out to me in the pickup line and voice her concerns. She would also converse with me his achievements and how proud she was of my child. They treated my child as part of the family, which really helped him adjust to a new school and new environment. The children are very well behaved. My child loves this school. On August 14th, he will be starting 2nd grade at this school. He has learned alot. I love that they sent home a summer packet so he doesn't forget what he learned for his 1st grade year. I love this school and will put my other two in as well whenever they are old enough to go.
