On Sep 12, 2017, my insurance company sent Alas Towing to bring my car, which had broken down, back to a repair shop for repairs. The car was on Squaw Peak Road. Halfway up the driver stopped and told me that I would have to pay him $200 to go any further as the road was steep and windy. I questioned this and told him that I had to get my car down. We eventually got to the repair shop and the driver would not off load my car until I had paid the $200. I called the Insurance company and they told me that all charges would be met by them, and that if the driver took money from me he was doing so illegally. I am going to take further action to get my money back.
