I had the extreme displeasure of visiting this lab for my daughter's blood work. I normally use this lab for my own blood work and have had no issues, however today was a different story. My daughter is 3 years old and has autism. This makes waiting challenging for her to begin with, but she was doing well she sat quietly for a while and after several minutes she stood up and walked toward the door to look out. Your employee, Franketa, barked at me to have her sit down. I was stunned by her rudeness, Lilah was not touch anything or bothering anyone. I had my daughter sit, but since she had already bored from sitting for a long time, this resulted in a tantrum. Thanks Franketa, how understanding and compassionate of you. Being a parent of an autistic child is not already hard enough, good thing there are rude, cold hearted people like you to make this much harder for me. The blood draw did not go much better, it took three phlebotomists, two needle sticks, and they were still unsuccessful. The phlebotomist Kitty, blamed me for not holding my daughter still enough, and the phlebotomist Nicole, blamed my daughter for wiggling and not relaxing. My daughter is three years old and has autism, she is not able to relax while you are stabbing her with a needle, please understand that. I was extremely upset my this experience, and shocked by the overall inability and lack of understanding I encountered here. I did not encounter a single helpful individual here today.
