I am very happy with the body repair of my 2006 Mercedes. The color is spot on and the price very reasonable. I have used them in the past for bodywork and have always been satisfied.

I brought my car to Dear Pond Auto in Leicester, MA to get a state inspection sticker. To my surprise they failed the vehicle for bad ball joints and immediately gave me an estimate to fix it. This raised red flags to me because they were just replace 6 months prior. I don’t think they knew that I have a strong knowledge of auto mechanics. I then ask to see the car and be shown the faulty ball joints. The inspector raised the front end and I myself proceeded to test the ball joint by moving the tire up and down. There was zero play. The man then moved the tire side to side to show the play that he was talking about. I informed him that he did not lock the steering wheel and that a side movement was only natural. I then held the steering wheel in place and asked to move the tire and it had zero movement. I asked to speak to the owner. The owner then came over and I explained the situation and how I felt that they were scamming me to create more work for themselves. He then proceeded to yell at me and told me to wait in the parking lot in the rain. About ten minutes later my car was backed out of the bay with a rejection sticker on the windshield. After leaving Dear Pond Auto I went straight to another state inspection station. That inspector deemed my vehicle safe in all categories and put a passing sticker on it. He informed me that I was the victim of a scam that Dear Pond has been known for. He informed me that I should call the state inspection hotline to report fraud to hopefully stop Dear Pond from stealing money from other customers.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! Deer pond auto has a great staff lead by a cheating, manipulating, con-artiest. Wolves in sheep's clothing!!!! Don't be surprised when Jim says one thing and does another, quotes you one price then over charges, fixs things that don't need fixing, doesn't ask permission YET expects to get paid for the "fix". He tries to sell it as if its in your best interest when it """never needed fixing". HE HOLDS YOUR CAR HOSTAGE UNTIL YOU PAY FIX YOU NEVER NEEDED. His selective memory lines his pockets ... and by the way what actually needed to get fix. isnt done right or on time.....IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY AND CAR TAKE THE TIME AND DRIVE, TOW, OR PUSH YOU CAR DOWN TO ANOTHER GARAGE.
