First of all it's located in Romeoville, Illinois not Lemont! How can they call this place "worlds finest chicken"? This place is a joke. You walk in the place and there are two 90+ year olds collecting the money without a smile or "thank you"! You wait forever to be seated so they are making a ton of money from their "museum". I cannot understand how anyone can call this great fried chicken. People who have told me this are people who do not know how, or do not cook at home. The chicken is fried, and has absolutely no seasoning, tasteless!! The food cost must be very, very low considering the only preparation is frying the chicken. They serve you beets- out if a can, kidney beans-out of a can, probably the coleslaw and cottage cheese is bought and scooped out from the plastic tub it comes in. The whole meal is bland, BLAND and the steak was gray and did not look char broiled. The seating is in numerous rooms with long cafeteria style tables, feels like you're sitting in someone's basement party from the 60's. The place is dingy, and smells like mildew. Please, the worlds finest? A dinner consists of four pieces, eleven guests(one had the steak), there were in no way forty pieces of chicken on those platters!!!!!! Went one time to see why it's so talked about, never again. Bllllaand chicken, no taste and canned sides, wow!!!
