Action Appliance gave us a time frame of 11:00 - 2:00 of when they would show up. Not only were they late, but they didn't even call first to let us know when they would show up. We had to wait all day for them to come fix our water heater. Next, they didn't give us an estimate, and they won't break down the pricing for parts, labor, etc. I just found out that they charge $138.00 for labor per job, no matter what. Would have been nice to have an estimate. Believe me, this is not the company you want to hire to make repairs.

My wife and I contacted Action because they offered service repair on 2 of our appliances and it saved us having to call out 2 different repair services and paying 2 different service call fees. They did fine with fixing our ice maker, but after 3 weeks, 3 AC units (one brought in from Denver, Co) and over half a dozen repeat service calls, they have failed to fix our AC problem in the top half of our house.



I would not recommend this company to anyone looking to have their AC or Furnace repaired or replaced. The one guy they keep sending out to our house is supposedly the company's most knowledgeable serviceman, but he has made some key mistakes. The company did give us an upgrade on the compressor unit they said we needed, but that was only after the company's expert failed to order and install the right unit. I feel sorry for the guy, but after 3 weeks, in 100+ heat index weather, I don't have any patience. So I'd give them 1 star out of 5 for effort.
