I have had several confrontational conversations with this firm. Their representatives (3 seperate reps) are argumentative from first contact. One called me a liar and told me to "man-up" and pay my debts. They quickly become verbally abusive as if threatining tones will somehow solve whatever issue prevents you from paying debts. Clearly this company is ripe for civil action as their personnel are unqualified or poorly trained to help debtors resolve issues or set up payment schedules to satisfy all parties involved. I recommend you notify them to contact you only by correspondence in accordence with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Send notification by registered mail requiring a signature. If they continue harrassing you, file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

KCI is trying to collect on debt discharged in bankruptcy 5 1/2 years ago. They also call without disclosing that the purpose of the call is of a business nature. They deliberately use intonations and language that sound as though they are a personal friend or acquaintance who urgently need to reach me.
