Provided by YP.comPLEASE READ THIS IF YOU PLAN ON LOOKING TO CAR SHOP AT THIS DEALERSHIP. They are out to take advantage of people who do not have good mechanical knowledge. I had a very disappointing experience at this dealership earlier this year.
I am a 23 year old college student and took my 2003 g35 in to possibly trade in for a newer 2008 g35 with lower miles. Growing up I was taken advantage of by two different mechanics in my hometown. Because of this I had no choice but to learn how to work on cars and learn all of the ins and out.
I chose to look for a car at a dealership only due to awful past experiences with used car lots. My thought process was "they sell plenty of new inventory so I doubt they'd be out to take advantage of who they deem to be stupid people" I was very wrong.
I show up by appointment and am brought to the car for a test drive. It starts ok. As soon as I put it in drive and take off, I can hear the ball joints cracking and making all sorts of nasty sounds. When pulling out of the dealership, I give it some gas to see how the transmission shifts and it was slipping very badly and making tons of weird noises. I hit the brakes and the entire car starts wobbling and making a knocking sound. Throughout the drive I play it off as a dumb college student while the sales lady is telling me how the car has great power and how she was so impressed with how smooth it drives (she told me she drove it herself earlier). We pull back in and when I put it in park the engine begins to start chattering and knocking. What a test drive that was!
On the way back inside I mention that I want to check out a newer ford focus they have parked out front. The saleslady literally told me "Oh you don't want that! you want the Infiniti with all the power and nice options." I said can i at least check it out? she reluctantly lets me sit inside of the car and thats it. She would even let me have the keys to start it up or anything.
We go inside, sit down, and she asks me about a selling price. I told her I would be willing to pay around 10,500 if they fixed all of the issues. (I never mentioned my mechanical background and was being dryly sarcastic) The funny part is that the saleslady told me she used to work on cars and replaced a transmission in her fathers truck, or something along the lines of that. So she and the dealership were absolutely aware that this vehicle was not safe AND in need of a complete overhaul or replacement of the engine, transmission, front end, and god knows what else that I didn't notice while driving the car, which would cost almost double of what they were asking for the car.
After my joke offer and request for them to fix the car first, she quickly says "great! We can do that. Let me go speak to my manager". She comes back and is excited to let me know that they will have the car all fixed up by TOMORROW and begins pressuring me (in a very assertive manor) to sign some random sheet of paper which I don't remember was for. I told her that I would be happy to purchase the car and sign whatever when I can see it is fixed and I can drive it to make sure everything is good, but I am not going to put the cart before the wagon when I am about to spend 10 grand on a car. Oh also by the way, Ive worked on cars the for the last 5 years of my life and there is no way in hell this car will be fixed by tomorrow, unless you guys keep a whole spare brand new Infiniti g35 engine, transmission, brakes, and front end stocked in the back of your dodge pickup truck dealership and have 10 nascar pitstop mechanics on cocaine ready to fix it in 24 hours.
After they realized I was not not clueless college student they panicked and agreed that the car was unreliable and that they were going to send it off to auction, but they were so ready to put some poor college student/older person/single mother in financial ruin/emotional stress/god knows what else just to make a quick few thousand dollars. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Provided by YP.comThis was our 2nd new car purchase at Lenoir City Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram...both Jeeps. This was also our 8th Jeep purchase. Both of these purchases were the best buys, the best dealer actions, the best and most professional dealings we have had with any of our Jeep purchases, and they had been with a number of previous dealers in several cities (our 1st Jeep had an accident, NOT the fault of the Jeep...and the EMTs and doctors said the Jeep saved my wife's life...plus the insurance agent said the coverage paid for the car BECAUSE it was a Jeep). Daniel Martinez, the salesman who we worked with, was right on point, friendly, informative and stayed on subject for the weeks involved (which included having some additional seat covers added by an outside firm). We continue to have our car serviced by this dealer as we did with our other Lenoir City Jeep car....and are very satisfied with the service department, too. In fact as I come in contact with more and more staff at this dealership I continue to be "wow-ed" by their professionalism and friendly approach. I suggest this dealership...and Daniel....to any and all.

Provided by YPmobileI was called from this dealership saying they had a deal I could not refuse. It was suppose to be a end of the month quota thing so I drove 2 hrs and 5 mins at 7:00 at night. Turns out it was all a lie to get me down there. Lenior city jeep dealership is a fake and liars..

Provided by YPmobileVery rude and unfriendly associates! Wanted to put us in what " they" wanted & it had 200,000 miles on it & looked as if it came from a junkyard! Very unprofessional. . Would not recommend this dealership.

Provided by YP.comFirst Bait and Switch, then Predatory Lending ? Be aware that this dealership engages in both. First they advertised on the web a car that was not available. Then they tried to convince me that 27 percent interest financing was a way to repair my credit.
Finally, the goober Sales Manager insulting across the showroom in front of customers!
STAY FAR AWAY

Provided by YP.comI finally traded in for a mini van. The guys at Tilley-Lane really helped me make the right decisions for me. They went above and beyond to make me a happy customer. Go see Doug and Ron at Tilley-Lane, they will take care of everything.
