You can't make an appt, even as an established patient you must walk in and wait EVERY time. I was misdiagnosed and wrongly medicated for over a year, 3 trips to Grace mental health ward to finally correct.
Current psychiatric head Dr, doesn't "believe" in anxiety as a legitimate mental health diagnosis. So basically disagrees with all current published psychiatric works!!

Yup they do not help at all. If you are trying to get on disability then don't go here!!!
They will not put all of your diagnosis on file.
If you are hearing voices they will give you meds to help with that, BUT they will not write that in you file. when will my lawyer contacted RHA for my records to take to court half of my diagnosis was missing!!!

I think this business is good for community based mental health care. If you can't afford anything else, go here, but if you can afford to go somewhere then you're better off paying to see a counselor. You won't get calls to remind you to come in, you have to remember, or call ahead about appointments. Also, you will be told to do group based therapy because that's a big part of treatment; whether you want it or not. Good luck!

I had a heck of a time getting an appt. I got my appt,went into the office,sat for at lease 1/2 hr,& when I went to ask when I was going to be seen, they then told me I will have to reschedule BC they just gave my appt away to a walk-in. What a joke.

I don't know about the rest of the programs, but the in-home intensive care workers for children are utterly rude, insensitive, and uncaring of their patients. In my opinion, these workers are the worst people I have met since moving to North Carolina.
