Do your research first. If you are looking for Christian biblical counseling then this is not where you want to be. Our teen was struggling with many issues. The counselor never met with my wife and I even once by ourselves. She would only meet with our daughter and did so three times therefore believing everything she said and ended up basically blaming us for her behavior. Fully endorsed homosexuality as an acceptable behavior, accused of confining her too much, and told us we needed to do a few other things to free her up. All this without meeting with us even once except for a few minutes after we had recovered our daughter after she had ran away. Very disappointed, shocked, and let down. Never again. We pulled her out of counseling there but our daughter went to see her and the counselor offered to see her for free even without contacting her mother to make sure it was ok. The teen is a minor. We aren't anti-gay. The counselor was way off base in her assumptions. We did not send her there to deal with whether she was ok to be gay. I'd steer clear and especially if you have biblical values and want them supported when you drop your kid to counseling and do not allow a counselor to meet with your kid several times behind closed doors without bringing you in and letting you know what is going on. Dangerous.
