I don't know about the shooting of horses, but they do everything else to make it impossible to have confidence in them. Between the drinking and riding and falling off horses(that was a trainer), To trying to sell horses or tack on extras services that supposedly they did and wasn't part of the deal. Cleaning was never a problem but you should run a stable with this kind of atmosphere that makes everyone uncomfortable. I'm so glad my horse only stayed a short while with you. Never knew where my horses were going to be from day to day (yes they were moved whenever the stable saw fit), take me 20 minutes to find them. I wouldn't give you a totally bad review but you need to step up your game.

Lazy T Ranch

Probably one of the best barns in this area. I've been using this barn as a home away from home for my horses for about 17 yrs. During my many visits to Lazy T Ranch have been treated with nothing but respect for my animals, family and friends. Remember that the horse ranch is also host Birthday Parties so if you are a week--end only rider / boarder keep this in mind. The owner has a waiting list on stalls but keeps a open mind and realizes that its not for everyone. On any given week-end can be two parties and a clinic going on. It can become very busy but if you voice your special needs the staff will try to accommodate you. The owner and his wife are are wonderful hosts and understands the importance to details in the atmosphere on the ranch. They address problems with a smile and preciate constructive criticism. In regards to the staffing none better. Hard working around the clock service. My husband and I go to many stables a year but this Ranch is my go to place for relaxing from the shows or just a dependable happy hide out from my normal routine. Doing the balance act of day to day chores even with a good small staff takes leadership, quick thinking and a good sense of humor. The fact that the owners are on site open 24/7 testifies the understanding your horse is important. If your planning to board make a sign be involved. The staff is responsible and respectful. I have tape in my truck at all for a quick sign. Nothing says I'm a team player than a customer that's responsible and thoughful of the staff and management. Cost of board is probably held down by parties. Boarding here is affordable and full service with trails all around with the bonus around-the-clock visiing accessibility to your horse unparalleled unless you own horse property.

Lazy t ranch is the best place to take your children to ride a horse or pony for the first time the people there are so patient with the kids. It is also such a beautiful place with so much to look at. I was so surprised to see how clean and well cared for this place is I was truly amazed!! They even have a play ground for the kids, it was truly a great place definitely a must see.

From an outsider looking in th...

From an outsider looking in the Lazy T Ranch looks like a step back to the good old days...however that is where it stops and the reality is that it is that the place is a hot mess. While I have lived there the last 8 months I have observed some very unethical behavior...like continuing to feed the horses in the sand and dirt which causes colic, horses have been shot and buried and if the grave isnt deep enough they have used a chainsaw to eliviate the problem. Horses have gotten out of their stalls and been loose for periods of time before the staff can be bothered to try to get them safely back to their pens. Horses pens need to be cleaned more often Water pipes drain into the gully behind the property faceing elizabeth lake rd. behind one of the houses towards the top of the property is a huge mountain of horse poop. The man who runs the ranch is a gossipy pest who I have caught peeking in my bathroom window as I am getting out of the shower because i did not answer the door fast enough . I could go on about the creep but I wont Ive been told this scheisty unethical behavior was going on before I moved here Infact the staff had quit the week I moved in according to the creep.. Im an animal lover and .My mission was to speak up for the horses....they cant speak for themselves

This Ranch has been Boarding Horses over 36 years! The staff lives on site and the ranch is open to its boarders 24/7. They have something for People of all ages including pony rides, playground and Picnic areas, lessons and lease horses. The main house dates back to 1914 and the Ranch is wonderfully decorated with historic artifacts and equipment.
