Lucas Wymore, M.D. attended the University of Notre Dame where he was a member of the varsity swimming team, earning Monogram Awards. After this, he graduated from Texas A&M medical school and completed his residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. While there, he provided care for the Tar Heel varsity sports teams. He then completed a fellowship in sports medicine in San Diego, including care of the San Diego Padres baseball club and the San Diego State Aztecs. He joined Southern Maryland Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in 2014. To remain involved in the community, He provides sideline coverage for St. Mary's Ryken High School, as well as serving as a consultant for St. Mary's and Charles County High Schools. Outside hobbies include swimming, weight lifting, surfing, and Notre Dame football.

The absolute best group of doctors in Southern Maryland. A rare find in this area; the doctors are very knowledgeable and they and their staff are friendly. They have treated two of my children and me. My son made a serious mess of his hand playing football and Dr. Henderson made it like new again. Dr. Forest has treats my Chronic Back Pain and has me able to function in my job and in life. Not only is she knowledgeable but shows such compassion in the face of pain. I would wish every one in pain could find her!
