St. Mary s County Public Schools operates several elementary, middle and high schools that provide academic education to students in kindergarten through grade 12. In addition, each school within the district has a library and media center that provides a range of books and instructional materials. St. Mary s County Public Schools serves more than 16,000 students and is located in Leonardtown, Md.
