The Green Acres Regional Center is a private, nonprofit organization that has been serving assist developmentally disabled adults in Cabell, Mason, Lincoln and Wayne counties in West Virginia for more than 30 years. It works with a team of more than 100 staff members from the fields nursing, social work, counseling and psychology. The center offers academic and functional living skill development, as well as vocational training services. The Green Acres Regional Center also organizes various events that include movies, bowling, concerts, picnics, fishing, regatta, shopping and sports. Its health services departments provide nursing and medical care services. The center also administers various fundraising activities. Green Acres Regional Center is located in Lesage, W.Va.
