do not use this florist - i ordered flowers with a promise to be delviered in early afternoon and they did not arrive until after the office where the recipient was closed. The staff was rude and unapologetic. I repeat AVOID THIS BUSINESS

While the flowers delivered for our wedding in Rehoboth Beach were beautiful, I cannot recommend this company because they were more than two hours late delivering them. The owner left my mom a voice mail confirming the 2:30 delivery time, since we planned for wedding photos before our ceremony. I spoke to the owner/manager at almost 3 p.m., and she hadn't even left Lewes yet. We had to rearrange the plan for photos because she did not honor her end of the deal. The flowers for the wedding were delivered to me and the bridal party less than 20 minutes before the 5 p.m. ceremony. When I called after the wedding to ask for a partial refund after the fact (my mom paid in advance to reduce the exchange of checks on our wedding day), the owner/manager offered us a $100 credit for future orders. I did not see this as acceptable, and will no longer use this florist or recommend them to others.



Silk and Sands lost a long-time loyal customer with this unacceptable experience.



I recommend brides at the beach in Delaware look elsewhere for their floral needs.
