Crossroads Middle School, located in Lewisberry, Pa., is one of the largest of four public middle schools in the West Shore School District. It offers classes in grades six through eight, and enrolls more than 800 students. Founded in 1993, it provides various opportunities for young adolescents and implements a curriculum that is diverse and developmentally responsive for all its students. The core subjects include language arts, social studies, math and science. Its extracurricular activities include an extensive music program with band, chorus and orchestra, art, remediation, student council, and exploratory courses designed to enhance the overall educational experience. Crossroads Middle School offers a variety of sports, including football, baseball, track and basketball.
