I also cleaned my house till after 2am after moving out. They will not do a walk through with you because they want to rip you off. BY LAW they have to give you the opportunity to fix whatever they intend to charge you for and conduct the walk through together. I found this out after I handed in the keys. Long story short PLEASE DO NOT rent from this Co.!!!!! You will be treated very rudely and the female's who work in the office have their noses so stuck to the ceiling you never see their faces and blame you for everything. They cant get anything correct but blame you and then try to charge you for everything.

First off, Lewis-Clark Property Management deserves less than one star, but 0 or negative ratings are not available.



My wife and I decided to rent a storage unit for our excess items and found a nice, well maintained unit near our home. Within 3 months, Lewis-Clark Property Management purchased the storage units and the place has gone to Hell. Not only have the property or units not been maintained, they increased the monthly rate the second they took over. On top of that, these greedy clowns locked us out of our unit and sent us a threatening letter claiming we had not paid and that our stuff would be seized on June 28th (the only letter showed up on the 25th, a Friday, and no one is EVER in their office except when they expect money). The main problem is the fact that we were paid up until August and had the receipt and other paperwork to back it up, but LCPM still claimed we owed them money and refused to remove their lock. They could not show that we were in arrears, let alone even slightly late, yet, again, they refused to unlock it. It took a ton of calls and the threat of legal action to get these rude, inconsiderate scavengers to allow us back into our fully paid storage unit.



Since then (2 years ago), they have done little to no maintenance or basic upkeep of the facility or the property. There are weeds everywhere, the seals on the door fail to keep water out, and there is a large hole in the ground in front of our unit that they refuse to fix. Our youngest stepped into the hole, which was caused by runoff from a broken gutter and was hidden by weeds they failed to remove, and wrenched her knee and ankle. We complained, yet nothing was done. With LCPM, nothing is EVER done.



The rapid decline of this storage facility is indicative of LCPM and their do-nothing except collect money business model. They just wash or paint something and tell you it is new, but you can't pour maple syrup on a turd and call it a pancake. Their rudeness and apparent disdain for all but prospective customers (or marks, as LCPM see them) is just another reason to avoid these clowns. We would have already switched to a different storage facility, obviously not owned by these slum lords, but I am unable to move my things due to physical disability (though I have finally rounded up adequate help and will be out of that rat's nest when contract ends in two months).



Word to the wise...avoid Lewis-Clark Property Management at all costs. You WILL be treated poorly (more like rudely and with contempt), you WILL receive little or no maintenance or upkeep on the property you rent (though they will fix little things or throw paint on something to attract a new sucker), you WILL be charged for their screwups, You WILL pay more in the long run, and you WILL be frustrated with LCPM and disappointed that you did not follow the advice given to you by previous victims of this bottom-feeding outfit.

I cleaned my house for 2 whole weeks getting all the checklist items and still they denied me my deposit back. I am currently pursuing them through small claims court. Seek renting options elsewhere.

The women who work at this place were some of the most condescending, impatient, sarcastic, rude, unhelpful people I've ever met.A totally degrading and unprofessional experience. How they are still in business, I will never know. Avoid this hellhole at all costs.

I will never rent from this company again I have had nothing but problems since I have lived there. I cleaned the place spotless and I didnt get a damn thing back for my depoist. They didnt worn me that I would loose my deposit if i moved out sooner than I was suppose to.

These people are crooks, thieves and are just plain nasty

This company is horrible to rent from. Not are they rude, but they will ignore any request for maintenance. I was blamed for damage done to the property from their lack of service. I was paying a very high amount of rent and expected better communication and attitude from a "professional" type company.

Do not rent from this company. They have too many properties and do not take care of them. They will charge you extra fees when you move out. You will not get your deposit back no matter how clean your rental is. They do not do maintenance and refuse to pay for normal wear-and-tear. You will regret renting from them.
