Pat Fowler, RN wanted to open an assisted living facility for many years, as she saw the need for it in her own sister. Janet had a tumor that eventually led to strokes, causing doctors to give Janet only a few months to live.... By the grace of God, Janet was with us from our opening until He called her home in early 2016. Even though we lost our inspiration and namesake we do and will continue to provide "High Quality Nursing Care in a Home Environment!" Because it was getting difficult to place Janet around the area, Pat and her son Marcus decided to start an assisted living facility in the Lewis-Clark Valley with a goal of "Providing High Quality Nursing Care in a Home Environment." In 2009, Living Spring Residential Care was founded by Pat and Marcus. Janet was our first resident. It soon became apparent there was a tremendous need for assisted living facilities that offer a high level of care. Recently, an opportunity came to expand our business to another established facility in the Lewis-Clark Valley. In October 2015, Pat's other son Lucas joined our team. We then took over operations at Golden Girls Manor (renamed Golden Girls Residential Care) bringing along our philosophies and high level care. In many cases, we accept Nursing Home Level Care.
