Incepted in 1993, Mifflin County Regional Police Department operates as a full-service law enforcement agency providing police coverage to the municipalities that encompass its jurisdiction. Some of the services the department provides include patrol, criminal investigations, bike unit, school resource officer program, traffic enforcement, crime prevention and narcotic investigations. Based in Yeagertown, Pa., it is responsible for more than 260 square miles of jurisdiction and serves nearly 22,000 residents within five municipalities, Burnham Borough, Derry Township, Brown Township, Union Township, Armagh Township and also patrols the Mifflin County School District Properties.
