Excellent experience!

We went in today to buy a new travel trailer and had an excellent experience. Barry Taylor was more than friendly, helpful, and knowledgable about all the campers we inquired about. Would highly recommend May's and also would ask for Barry.

I bought a R-Pod 175 from May'...

I bought a R-Pod 175 from May's RV in February 2011. When we came to pick up the vehicle, it was filthy inside and out. Dirt all over the bedspead and the trash from the couple of items I had installed had not been cleaned up. Since then, I have had it in for service almost everytime I have used the vehicle. Part of the blame goes to Forest River the manufacturer, but a big portion goes to May's. The hot water heater would not work on Propane. You would hear the igniter and then a small explosion. That'll wake you up! It was to be fixed and I was told it was good. Next trip, Same thing. Then the Refrigerator would not work on Propane. Fixed the next time. Finally the Ignitor was replaced and it seems to work, but sometimes it still fails to ignite. I had it in for the A/C becuase it would not cycle on and off. The issue was the Thermostat. It must be in the Auto Position in fan mode to work properly. We went to camp again and then the A/C would not turn on. If the Thermostat is above 100° it will not start. Not a good thing in Texas. Although I had just had it in there a couple of days prior to this, May's informed me that the Thermostat had been recalled by the maker and would need to be replaced. I could take it anywhere. and anywere, but May's I will. I would not recommend them for sales or service. Take it anywhere.

Honest family owned business

My 1st travel trailer had axle problems and May’s RV offered to help me with it even though they had not sold it to me and they did it for free. I am in Mesquite and they are in Lewisville. I have many RV places very close to me and all of them wanted over $100 to help me with it and could care less. So when I needed a new one, I went to May’s RV and have never regretted it. They even held my new trailer for over a month while I waited on my insurance payment. I needed warranty work recently on the new trailer and it was done very quickly and they even did extra work I had laid out parts to do myself. I kind of figured they would and sure enough they did. They are family owned and very good people. I wish they were on my end of town. I would just love visiting them.
