Lexington High School offers learning opportunities to various students. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as art, agriculture, business, English, math, home economics, social studies and Spanish. The school offers various programs, such as volleyball, golf, swimming, basketball, track and softball. Lexington High School also features advanced placement calculus and on-campus Heartland Community College courses for various students. The school features a fine arts department that organizes a variety of performances, concerts, marching bands and art exhibitions. Located in Lexington, Ill., it is a part of Lexington School District, which serves more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district has a work force of over 40 teachers.
