Provided by YP.comJust stopped in to get my Lhasa Apsos nails done. The tech was so nice. We were past due to get them done, but she was so nice and told us to bring him back in 3-4 weeks to get them shorter. I was really impressed how quick and professional she was and knowledgeable. Will be back when his shots are due in December. Thanks you guys

Provided by YP.comJust no! So we go in because my cats eye is watering for a week right. Nothing major. The tech tells me they can clip his nails too for around $10.00 I tell her he does not like getting that done and she assures me it will be fine. Next thing I know she comes in and tells me it took four of them to hold him down to cut his nails and now I have to pay $20.00. Also that during this torture he peed and pooed on himself! I am so infuriated and refused to pay the extra charge. I told her if he was fighting that bad to where he had an accident on himself why in the world would they continue on with that?! And without my permission! I brought my cat to get his eye checked not to get held down by four vets and get so upset where he wet and craps himself! Unacceptable...just to make an extra $10.00? Next time Afford-A-Not-Vet ask the owners permission before you decide to do this type of crap to our pets! Never again!

Provided by YP.comI think this place is great!! I called and got an appointment the same DAY for my sweet sassy. She hurt her leg playing with my dad. They told me the phone, they did not have x-rays. I told them I could not afford an expensive clinic. So they said would have Vet look at her, tell if she needed x-rays and get her something to help with the pain. The vet was great, so kind and sweet. She took great care with Sassy's little leg. She did need x-rays after all:( So they sent to a clinic in Danville for the x-rays. THEY DID NOT EVEN CHARGE ME ANOTHER EXAM FEE and gave me a discount :) because I was an Afford-a- vet client. It ended of being a minor fracture with a little rest, splint, and pain medication. She was back to normal. They really helped me out and Sassy loved them. THIS PLACES ROCKS!!

Provided by YP.comWhat would I tell a friend? I would say run the other way. Against my better instincts, I took a young stray to this facility for routine checkups....(in hopes of inviting him home) ....which turned-out fine...and was offered a neutering. I thought, "It's time...why not?" Made a horrible mistake and lost him shortly thereafter. Blindsided and devastated
No compassion from management/owner. She offered a few "Oh Wells".......staff looked at the ceiling. Couldn't believe it....and from the looks on the faces of staff...neither could they. Speaks volumes. If you truly care about your pets....go to a more professional vet.. You won't find it here...and neither will I in the future. Not here. God Rest Baby Blue.

Provided by YP.comI cannot sing their praises enough! I have brought my two bull mastiffs there for over a year now. They are very affordable, but that isn't even the best part. I am a crazy dog owner, who truly believes that my dogs are my children. The staff was always more than accommodating, sweet, caring, and helpful to me and my sweet puppies. We recently had to put one of our dogs down and they made an absolutely terrible experience bearable. I know they care about my dogs and have always given them the best care. I would recommend them to everyone and will always take my pups there!
