There are plenty of HVAC Service companies around Lexington. Please do not choose Bryant HVAC. Based on my situation, you will get pushed for a new unit, overpay, get lied to about products you'll receive, get a terrible install, and be put on the back of the list for fixes.

I just had a visit from Paul, a field supervisor from Bryant Heating and Cooling, after there was a problem with my HVAC after a scheduled maintenance with another HVAC technician. Paul was very respectful, polite, and kept his promise that he would take good care of the problem I was having with my unit. He did a wonderful job educating me and went above and beyond. Instead of just taking care of the problem I was having, he also changed my filter and cleaned my AC. He educated me regarding a damper that was partially closed that would allow more air to an area of my home that was not getting as much air even though I did not even mention that issue to him. Now my home is heating and cooling evenly.

I was considering going with a different company in the future to continue maintaining my unit, but Bryant Heating and Cooling took really good care of me and they have re-instilled my faith and trust that there are still good companies out there that want to do right by their customers and provide great service.

We called Bryant to have them look at our heat pump freezing up. They were able to come out the same day; within 4 hours. The technician (William) changed the the defrost from 90 minutes to 60 minutes. Also, gave me new information about how the heat pump works.

William K. just did the annual inspection of our heating and air. Yes, there is some rust forming on the motor. Normal since it is outside. No need for alarm. Did not use scare tactics. I like that.

When I called the rep. told me I would be charged $60.00 for the service call but the parts and labor were covered by my 5 year warranty. The technician found that my unit was freezing up and not defrosting because the defrost board & switch had gone bad and he would have to order them and they could be installed the next day. I said this will be all covered by the 5 year
warranty, Right,,,,he said NO,,,then showed me a chart showing it was going to cost me over $700.00 for parts & labor. I said how could it cost that much when I have a 5 year warranty and the circuit board and switch could be installed in less than 10 minutes because they just screwed on the side of the unit. He told me that he just goes by their set labor rates and this is how the warranty on my unit works,,,I was dumbfounded.,,,Oh yes he also said that my 2 year and 2 month old unit was low on freon but that he would not charge me for that,,,,Thanks for nothing and ripping off your hardworking customers.

My air went out and the tech came on a Saturday to look at it. He told me the condenser and compressor were both broken and needed to be replaced along with more freon $3500. I told him I'd have to think about it. Called my regular air repair guy the next day. He said the compressor and condenser were both fine and no freon is necessary but there were two wires disconnected and hanging down. He said the capacitor was broken and replaced it for only $350!!! I now have cold air again. Bryant lied and disconnected wires. I call that criminal!

Air went out on a Saturday night, called around 845pm and was told they would be at my house Sunday between 9am-12pm. (King) Showed up before 9am. Off to a great start. I've researched replacement units for our home and knew a ball park number. They were around that number, just a little higher, but a different brand then the one I was looking at. A better brand at that. The installation team (Brian and JD) showed up around 4:30 and got started. These two guys worked there tails off in 95 plus degree heat for more then 5hrs installing two outside units and new coils. There was a small issue the next day, but King was here to correct that issue that day. I've seen a lot of bad reviews and good, but so far my wife and I couldn't be happier. We would like to thank the whole team for there hard work. Just a reminder all this took place on a Sunday, not a weekday.

Do NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I too wish I could rate them a zero or negative number. Had an issue with low freon. The tech Denzil, told me I needed a new unit and proceeded to do a credit church for the $6000 he quoted. I asked him again for freon, he said if I did not qualify for financing he would come back and put freon in. He collected the $60 service fee and left. I tried to let management know about this. I was told he did not take the $60, trust me he did. And they then said they were red flagging me DO NO CALL US AGAIN. Now it seems they have a liar and thief and they do not care. I'm bamboozled. It's not about the money it's their treatment and not believing a customer. WOW UNBELIEVABLE

If I could rate a "0" I would. A big man showed up from their company, spent 5 minutes looking at my A/C unit and said it had a leak with freon and that it would cost $4400 to repair or $3200 to replace. I told him my Mom owned the house and that she probably wouldn't do anything and then he told me he would "report the leak to the authorities" and they would shut it down in 30 days. I paid him his $64.95 for this abuse. I have NEVER been treated like this by a service man in my entire life! WHAT AN A------.

Bryant heating and cooling are crooks the tech will come to your house like they did mine give u a verbal quote like they did me for a 15 seer 3.5 ton unit for 7800 then install a 13 seer unit for that price then tell u thst in there contract it states no verbal agreements will be honored about 1500-2000 dollar difference in units I would not recommend them to my worst enemy! !!!
