Provided by YP.comOn September 12, 2013 I took my lawn mower in to Dixon's because the pull cord wasn't working. They called me a week later on a Saturday to let me know it was ready to pick up. When I arrived, one of the attendants tried to start it and it wouldn't start. I left the lawn mower there and asked them to call me once it was fixed. Three days later they called me to come and pick the lawnmower up, I did and used it twice since then. Today I wanted to mow my lawn, went to start it and the pull cord broke. My friend recently had the same problem - her mower was leaking oil, she had to return hers THREE times before it was finally fixed. Needless to say I'm unable to recommend this place for lawn mower repair.

Provided by YP.comToday, I went into Dixon's to get a cost for putting an air filter on my car. A guy named Kermit said pop the hood. I did. As he reached for the taped dry rotted hose, I asked him not to remove the tape, that I wanted an estimate first before he did any work. On that, he slammed the hood shut, said he wouldn't work on my f...ing car and called me a "c..." and screamed like someone who needed a straight jacket. He kept throwing f bombs. I said "Thank you so much for being such a nice man" and drove off as he stood there ranting and railing about women.
All I did was ask for an estimate and ask him not to remove the tape as the guy at Valvoline who found the faulty hose said not to drive without it. Kermit told me to take the car back to "f...ing" Valvoline.
His reaction far exceeded anything I would consider normal, and his vile language was beyond any business or personal interaction I've ever seen.
I called the car parts house -- the guy who recommended Dixon's -- to let him know how I was treated. Neither he nor I would ever recommend this place, especially to women. It was the most horrible experience and person I've ever encountered in business. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to report this experience.

Provided by YP.comI recently used Dixon's Service Center to repair my truck. They told me the fuel pump went out on my vehicle and allowed them to fix the problem. Dixon's put a new fuel pump with labor costing me 724 dollars. Three days later I had the same problem with the truck. I was broke down on the side of the interstate coming home from work. I called Dixon's back to tell them my problem and they pretty much told me it was my problem and not theirs. That I could take my truck back to them and they would look at it again, but would charge me for labor again and any replacement parts. They do not stand behind the work they perform nor have a professional manner dealing with disputes what so ever. They were rude, cursed me out on the phone, and eventually hung up on me. Now I am left to find a real mechanic to fix my truck and another fee to tow the truck somewhere else. I would not reconmend anyone to go there, they are crooks that do not stand behind their work!

Provided by YP.comAfter having a horrible experience at the Midas on E New Circle, these guys truly saved the day. They were very honest and quick. Completing work for me on my car on a Sat afternoon that allowed me to keep my car safely on the road. They gave me a reasonable price and stuck to it. The work was done well and with no problems. What more can you ask for. I will definitely be sending them more of my business.
