I had the best experience at J&H. It’s nice to have a locally owned store with great selection and customer service. J&H is the best and I highly recommend checking them out!

I love J&H! They're super friendly and have all of the best brands at of course the best price! I enjoy that they support where I'm from the Red River Gorge! If you need equipment to hike in the RRG this is the place to find it! #hikingrrg

I will have to disagree with mr robinson. I just left the store without a single one of the 4-5 sales clerks asking if they could help. I'm sure there was only one other customer in the store this weekday morning. I was there to buy a pair of shoes, I knew what I wanted and they could have made an easy $150 sale. Instead they lost the sale and a longtime customer.

This is the best store in the world. I have never been to a place that takes care of their customers the way they do. I bought a pair of hiking shoes about 8 months ago The sole on one of the shoes came loose but I didn't think much about it; I really liked the shoes. The next time I went back to the store I looked for the same shoes. I told the sales person what happened. Surprise -- he told me they would replace the shoes. I didn't think anyone would do that. We also found out that my shoes are no longer being made. He gave me 100% store credit for my old shoes and was really nice to me in the process. I find that J & H Outdoors is a little high on their prices but for the quality of customer service I got it is well worth it. I won't buy from another store again. This is now my favorite outdoor store. They went way above what I expected -- on a scale of 1 to 10 they get a 12 -- 100% satisfaction on service and quality of merchandise. Thanks J & H, I'll be back again and again.
