I have Eye Med insurance and was happy to see that this Optician accepted my insurance. So, I took my two daughters, also covered under my insurance and headed over for an eye exam. The doctor insisted that we each have our eyes dilated after I had explained to her that I was driving in bright sun light. She insisted that the new dilation process would not cause the same effects as in years old. Hmmm... The sunlight was blinding and painful in addition to she charged me $130 above and beyond what my insurance was willing to pay.



My eye exam was supposed to have been only for contact lenses of which she failed to explain that I had to have a "Fitting" and would have to come back countless numbers of times just to obtain the prescription for contacts. An unnecessary fitting considering I have been wearing contact lenses for years.



A snappy little red head clerk decided that I would have to pay an additional cost for an extra exam to prove I could wear contact lens. She caused a scene and failed to apologize when the Dr. corrected her saying I wouldn't have to pay an additional cost.



It has been 3 months and I still don't have my contact lenses.
