I had the installation installed in my attic over a year ago. My electric bill never really went down. So when the year came up I realized it only saved me roughly 10% on my bill not the guaranteed 25%. I have called and visited the business during operating hours. Yet no one is ever there and now the number is disconnected and the building is empty. I would never recommend this business to anyone.

I had this insulation system installed in my attic. It has been exactly one year. I have compared my previous years bills for electricity, and found only a 9% savings, not a guaranteed 25% as promised by the company. Now I can't even get anyone to pick up the phone there. Be careful folks........ some guarantees are too good to be true

THIS COMPANY DOES NOT PAY THE PEOPLE WHO DO THE INSTALLATION WORK AS THEY AGREE TO. The company is also in bad standing with the Secretary of

State and is listed as Pending Dissolution Any one that expects to have a warranty should be warned. They change their phone numbers regularly and when they see a customer or installer calling they simply do not answer the calls. BAD BAD business practices BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

I found Residential Concepts on Yp.com and thought I'd ask them for a free estimate. For the past 2 weeks, I noticed some squirrels on my roof every morning and saw them enter a hole in the roof. Yikes! I was freaking out & called anybody who could come out to take a look asap.



Jim came out the next day.I needed an early morning appt & he was very accommodating. Jim was very considerate as he had shoe covers when he came into the house to check the attic. Seriously, it drives me crazy when people don't have shoe covers! He also crawled through a small hole in our wall to check our attic for about 15 mins. I could hear him in the walls & it's funny to think I've been living in my home for so long yet there's parts of my house that I've never been to, yet this stranger is all up in the attic. Anyhow, Jim emerges from the attic with photos he took on his cell phone & shows me there was minimal rodent feces & that the insulation was all intact. He even pointed out a hole in the wall that rodents might be climbing up from the crawlspace or pipes. Jim took his time and gave me lots of advice on how I can prevent rodents issues and rodent proof my home. What is most amazing is that he spent all this time inspecting and giving me advice on how I can do this on a weekend myself! He didn't try to push his services.

That shows how awesome & how honest this business truly is. I did buy there insulation system and its working great. Normally my upstairs was burning up in the summer, not no more thanks again Jim and my friends at Residential Concepts



Working in sales myself, I'm use to seeing people quickly turn away when they realize there's no sale. Residential Concepts was not the case.

This was the easiest experience EVER!



First of all, we were paying $300 to $400 utility bills in the summer/winter and our house was kept at 80 degrees in the summer we could not do it one more summer. Our family was not only hot, but uncomfortable in our own home. We knew that something had to be done before this summer. I did some researches and figured that one of the reasons for it is the quality of attic insulation.

I called few companies and set up appointments so they can check my attic and figure if my insulation was up to the builders code and if it's in a good shape.

1 company never showed up, another company sent out a slimy car salesmen type my husband kicked him out of our house and them i met Tristan with Residential Concepts he honest enough to give me the right solution which was just adding new insulation since my insulation was poor but still in good shape. Their material and process and work was more professional according to the presentation of their representative.

I am very happy we went with Residential Concepts. My electrical bill has been reduced by 28% so far this year. Will definitely be recommending to all our friends.

All I have to say is WOW! I have had my barrier for over 2 years and I was concerned about reviewing the Barrier until I knew it was working. I love that my electric bill has gone down and my house is finally comfortable. I think I may need to call you soon for Gutter Guards. In searching for home attic/ceiling insulation all seemed to be out of town or out of businesses until I found Residential Concepts online.

I made an appointment to assess my needs & get a quote. They were so busy that I couldn't get the work done as quickly as I wanted, but that's life & things worth having are worth waiting for. The work was several months ago and I can already feel the temperature difference, easily 10 degrees, (the insulation had been down to nothing in some areas).

The Install guys worked together seamlessly, were done in less time than estimated, and vacuumed up their very slight mess.i have already seen a significant drop in my kilowatt usage from the same time last year before i had upgraded my insulation.

Josh came out, evaluated our home and gave us his proposal. He was friendly, intelligent and worked with us to come up with a plan that we cold afford.



It's been 6 weeks since we've been insulated, and it's a huge, noticeable difference, our heater doesn't come on EVERY morning (like it used to). On those mornings when we do have to have heat, the heat stays in longer, so we usually only go through one cycle on the heater.

I had free home energy evaluation from this company. I've always wanted to do this because our utility bills are very high, and I knew something was not right with my house. I had a few guesses, but wanted to make sure. They were very responsive to my emails to schedule my appointment. Chris showed up on time and spent about an hour to do the evaluation Chris was very professional and knowledgeable. I had many questions, and he answered all of my questions very thoroughly. When we looked in the attic, I was very surprised to see how under insulated we were. Chris explained that one of the main reasons i had high utility bills was due to that very reason. i had bought new windows and doors just 2 years ago and had a new furnace too. What I had done:

I haven't had to run my heat the past week because the house stays between 69-72°F, and I'm excited to see what my power bill looks like!



I originally set an appointment to come out and give me an estimate in November when I had an energy evaluation done. I got distracted by other projects and never got around to taking care of the insulation. I called back in January to see if they would still be able to make it out to do the work, and they came out the next day to reassess and make sure the estimate was still accurate. He and his install crew came out the following day, a Saturday nonetheless, and completed the job in a day. A+++++

Although we had done our research and were impressed by the reviews of Residential Concepts. we had absolutely no intention of purchasing immediately, intending to obtain estimates and explore other companies before making a decision. Within 20 minutes we were sold and scheduled installation for just a few days later. The installation team was great - these guys are rock stars! They were so professional and friendly, all while working is some really poor conditions. You guys are the best!!! And the best part, the difference in the house is amazing! My utility bills seemed pretty high so I decided to look for companies to that could help. I searched and found the Residential Concepts website and saw an offer for a free energy evaluation. I was skeptical because some companies charge for an evaluation and others don't, and I was wondering how good a free evaluation would be. I did my research and decided to give them a call.



The inspection was pretty detailed and didn't take too much time. The energy consultant was friendly and explained the features of my house and how things work together to keep the house comfortable. It turns out my house only has four inches of insulation, hot attic air was pouring in through poorly installed light fixtures, and my weather stripping was worn out.



Worse, some of the air ducts were ripped and the air conditioning was going straight into the attic! I didn't believe the severity until I went in the attic to see for myself. Talk about wasting money! The cool part is that Residential Concepts had solution. but seeing is believing.





It's been about 6 months since then and I can honestly say that my house is cooler, the ac turns on less often, and the best part is that my current electric bill dropped by over 30% I couldn't believe it!



I recommend the Residential Concepts because they did a good job and now I'm saving money!

We were looking to re-insulate our older home and decided to get a few bids. As I have used Yp in the past I did a search and came up with a few highly recommended companies. Residential Concepts Company was one of them and the thing that really sold me on them was the salesperson (Jake McDonald) who came out to show us what they had. He did a great job of explaining the different types of insulation and gave a great demonstration of how there insulation worked. As their price was comparable to the other bids I got, I decided to go with them because I felt quite comfortable with my experience and I trusted Jake's recommendation. Also, they never pestered me about going with them as a few other companies did.

Well... on to the instillation day. Dave and Mike (the installers) were there right on time. Well, in fact... about 5 minutes early, but they waited until 8 to ring the doorbell. They got right to work and at first glance you could tell these guys were pros. Mike did a wonderful job on keeping the work site clean. and Dave proceeded to start the job. They worked great as a team too, as there were moments they needed each other to complete a task. Once Dave finished he helped Mike finish up the remaining work in a timely manner. All and all we had a great time. It took about 5 hours from start to finish. Everything was neat and clean when they left and I was 100% satisfied with the job that Mike and Dave preformed.



Oh BTW... the insulation we ended up getting was the shiny foil insulation it was the only one that came with an energy savings guarantee. I have noticed what a great difference it has made in out two south facing bedroom... and the entire house. It is now 5 to 7 degrees cooler in them room and that is a HUGE difference when it comes to comfort and energy savings.



I am completely happy with the experience I had with Residential Concepts Company and would recommend them highly.

Last winter was BRUTAL on our 60+ year old house!!!!! I purchased the house about a year and a half ago, and man do these inspectors miss a lot in their reports just to push the sale of the house on behalf of the Realtor. Case in point, nothing was mentioned about the existing insulation in our attic (or lack there of), which Residential Concepts pointed out as being Rockwool. This insulation was used many years ago before the pink panther decided to change careers, really something I wish the inspector would have informed us of, especially since we have a newborn.



Our problem on the outside of the house was lack of insulation that caused heat to escape quickly from our attic. This allowed snow to rapidly melt from the second story roof onto the first floor roof, causing damning and giant icicles to form onto the gutters. YEA they fixed that too... I knew after last winter that we had to address the attic situation with more insulation.



Residential Concepts did a fantastic job However, his recommendation was to encapsulate my attic, a good cleaning of my soffits to ensure proper ventilation, and seal up the attic door.



A couple days later now and our home already feels a lot cooler than before. We have already found ourselves turning up the a/c. Thank you Residential Concepts Insulation!!! We look forward to saving some money when the cold winter strikes again we will be ready!

We found out we had ZERO insulation in our 1982 home. No wonder we had crazy temperature swings - 85F upstairs in the summer, 65F in the winter despite having all new windows. We decided to go with Residential Concepts based on other Yp reviews, and they did not disappoint!



They answered all questions, were very courteous, and easy to reach by email (a must for me!). A crew of 3 people showed up on time and were very efficient. They calculated square footage, explained the process, and even told us how they were going to eliminate the comfort issues in our home.. We felt very much like appreciated customers - they drove from Lexington to Mt. Sterling at 6am and were on time!



Since installation, we have felt a definite difference in the home and our first electric bill was 29% lower then the last full month with out the product in our home!! I highly recommend Residential Concepts Insulation.

The entire experience was exceptional. From the young man that knocked on my door to the salesmen that showed up (at the exact time of our appointment) to the end. They completed the entire job in one day, insulated my entire home in the Middle of hot weather, I had a time frame to meet and they came out on the one and only day (due to weather and temp) and did the work. I can not stress enough what a great customer experience this was from start to finish. My wife and i needed to get insulation in the attic (long overdue); i called RCI last Saturday morning based on great reviews and the fact that they seem to be the only insulation dedicated company in the area and we wanted experts. Josh talked me intelligently through all the types of insulation, specifically Radiant barrier vs Traditional Insulation and we agreed that Radiant barrier was the best choice for us and set an appointment for later in the week. the appt shifted a little (due to our schedule) and they were accommodating every step of the way and quoted a very fair and competitive price.



Roy and Steve came out Thursday by 1pm, they knew exactly what they were doing, barely made a sound or mess (my little daughter was taking a nap) and they moved quickly and had it done in under 3 hours (1700 sq feet) They were professional and cared, they looked at some air ducts and vents as well to give their advice on how to best get the air distribution balanced in the house. A follow up call with Josh on Friday am, and we are really in a more comfortable environment already and confident that our summer ahead will be manageable and cooler too. We just had the Rhino Guard water management system installed on our 2-story home. The product is fantastic compared with other gutter protection systems on the market.



The installation people fixed/repaired our existing gutters and then installed the Rhino Guard over the top of it. It's securely fastened and won't let anything (other than water) into the gutter. The mesh is so fine, not even sand can get through the tiny openings. This is great because whirly birds cannot fall into the gutters and grow mini trees. Other gutter guards have openings that are bigger and don't prevent this from happening.



Compared to competitor brand gutter "caps", the Rhino Guard system can withstand heavy rainstorms. A typical gutter cap that curves around can only handle "light" rain. If you have the gutter caps, heavy rain will just fall over the sides of the gutter. Plus, your gutters still get some leaves and debris.



Residential Concepts inc. installed the Rhino Guard water management system was friendly, professional, and always cleaned up after themselves. Our particular installer has been doing this for years, so he knew what he was doing.



As a added bonus, the product came with a transferable warranty. So if we ever sell our home, the new owners can call Residential Concepts inc. if there are any problems. 5 Stars in my book!!

I don't often give 5 stars, but WOW was I impressed with the work Residential Concepts performed! They was very professional, really knew the product, and completed the job on time.



It's been my experience in the past that you have to baby sit contractors, and maybe I'm a little picky when it comes to home repair, but Residential Concepts work was flawless! There experience really shines through! I would more than happy to recommend them to my friends, neighbors, and family.
