Cotting School provides specialized medical, therapeutic and academic programs to students with physical and multiple disabilities. It has a staff of guidance counselors, adaptive physical educators, industrial art technologists, nursing assistants and pediatric physicians. The school offers a variety of courses, such as visual and creative arts, physical education, industrial arts, home economics and technology. Its specialties include occupational and physical therapies, counseling and guidance and educational technology. In addition, the school organizes various activities, including basketball, golf, track and field, softball, cheerleading, drama, music, dance and field trips. Cotting School has been operational for more than 100 years and is located in Lexington, Mass.
