My father and I were stopping in for a nice breakfast Sunday morning after Marfaritafest. After the woman behind the counter asked us if we wanted to sit inside or outside, she asked if we also wanted coffee. We both said yes and made our way to the back outside area where a large man with grey hair and a mustache stopped us and asked if we wanted coffee in a real loud voice. We replied, "the woman up front just asked and took our order for coffee, thanks." And then he said, "right she's trying to relay the information back to me" and we were just kind of like, ok? But then the man turned away and started walking back up and hollered to the woman saying, "they don't want cream" as well as a few other things neither of us understood. We looked at each other in confusion and I responded, "excuse me you asked if we wanted coffee, not if we wanted cream." In which he promptly responded, "that's what I was leading into." So we thought, well we don't need to eat here after all this commotion. We started walking out and he said, "sorry guys" while all the customers were looking at us and chuckling. We said, "we're sorry too" and were about out the front door when he said, "good, don't ever come back here again!"
Don't worry, we are never going back to that ripoff hole in the wall that treats new customers like garbage.
All I have to say is wow. We weren't even seated and they were treating us like trash and making a huge scene talking real loud.
If you are visiting Lexington and stop in, plan on being treated with no respect and poor service unless you're a local. This was our fifth and last time there only because of the limited selection in town.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch and while looking at the menu we noticed that there were no refills on soft drinks which was ok, then we both ordered a cheeseburger and decided to split a large fry. When the food came the burgers were good but very small for the price. The fries were served on a small plate and didn't even cover the plate. Then at checkout we realized they didn't accept credit cards. It just seemed to me like they were trying to make money in the wrong places. I am very disappointed and will not be going back.

My family owns a vacation home in port sanilac and stopping for a "wimpy burger" on the way out, has become a family tradition. The food is so yummy. I highly recommend giving their fried macaroni bites too! Soo good!

The place is too small. The service wasn't great. We paid too much for the small amount of food we received. I doubt I'll go back.

Stopped in Saturday evening of labor day weekend, at 7pm. Not busy. Upper manager has calmed with age? Despite of his previous reputation. Ordered our grilled onion cheese burgers. I asked for mine to have extra onions and extra pickles. Everyone burgers came with 2 little strips of onions. Come-on this is suppose to be a grilled onion-burger. I had to ask 2x's more before I received my onions. The buns seemed to big for these small onion burger, probably Wonder buns?? I also, notice when we ordered them as cheese burgers, we only recieved a half of slice of cheese per burger.. I did not think things were that bad, for the best and well know hamburger place in Lexington, Michigan. I asked the waitress that seemed to waiting on us " Are you our waitress"? There was only 4 adluts and a child. She replied "We all of are" which made 3. I always used thank-you when talking to all of the young ladies. Never recieved a nice reply back!! The quality and customers service has stepped down a few notches.Thats why i gave them fair rating. In the past you could alway count on Wimpys Place. Take your chances!!!
