Lexington Middle School offers education to more than 700 students in grades six through eight. It offers subjects that include language arts, social sciences, computers, technology, physical education and mathematics. The school s subjects also include social studies, foreign languages, health education and environmental sciences. It offers a wide range of services, such as academic intervention, transition support, physical counseling, and psychological evaluation and consultation. The sports activities provided by the school include gymnastics, volleyball, bowling, basketball, wrestling and track. It also offers a variety of extracurricular activities that include dance, games, pie throwing, face painting and fishing. The school is a part of the Lexington City Schools and is located in Lexington, N.C.
