Mike Green is not someone you want to buy a home from. His contractors do a shotty job and cut corners. He says he will do things and either doesn't do them or takes a long time to get to it. I bought a home from him with a large down payment and it took over two months to have the house ready to move into and the land that we bought was never cleaned or properly cleared off. I had to do most of the work myself that was left over and my plumbing wasn't done right so I already have to replace the floor in my bathroom. When I try to contact them I leave messages with no call backs and when I do talk to them he says he will send his crew out and they never show. I'm so sick of dealing with him I took things in my own hands and starting repairing it myself. Do not buy here I am warning you there are better places to go and in hindsight I should have gone somewhere else.

Severe Problems!!!

If you enjoy being lied to, treated rudely after the sale, being hung up on when you have a complaint or a concern, then Green Acres is the place to be! If you wish to purchase one of their repo homes, have it delivered and then let it sit there for 10 1/2 weeks before they finish the work, then go see Mr. Haney! The co-owners Mike Green and Jeff Schrauger have lied to me more than I have fingers and toes. The two of them are not only liars, they're cowards also. They have a habit of getting very frustrated and hanging up the phone on you. When you call and remind them of what has occured and what they told you they would do about it, it just seems easier to hang up on you than to deal with the problems. I was finally given the keys to my home 73 days after I purchased it. When I brought to their attention one small problem that hadn't been fixed yet, I was advised that they wouldn't being coming out to my house again. When I reminded Jeff that I have a 90 day warranty on the house, I was advised that the warranty wouldn't be honered and then I was hung up on. I also purchased an extended warranty for $450. I may as well have flushed that money down the toilet. This now forces me to get my attorney involved and file a complaint to the South Carolina Manufactured Housing Board. If you would like to deal with all of this then Green Acres is the place to be. If you choose to purchase a home from these guys, just don't say I didn't warn you!!

Worse experience ever

I would not now buy a cup of coffee from this establishment. My husband and I bought a mobile home for parents in October 2013. They were supposed to be renovating the trailer and have it completed in November. There was supposed to be a 3 day lapse while they moved the old trailer out and the new one in. They did not complete the restoration by the move in date but they went ahead and moved it in anyway. We paid them $1000 to move the old trailer but they just moved it to another piece of the property. Now the 3 days that it was supposed to take turned into from November to January and that was with me calling every week and yelling about the work that was not completed. There were weeks at times that workers did not show up. The work that was completed was shoty and unsound. Finally they supposedly complete it in January, though we are still missing screens for every window. Plus the work was horrible. Even simple things like painting; there are huge drip lines all over the walls. The trailer that we paid him $1000 3 months ago to move is also sitting in my front yard. When I called him today he told me that I should be grateful for the work he and his workers had done. Apparently it is something you must thank him for even though he was paid in full for it. He also threatened to sue me, for what I am unsure, if I called the zoning commission on him about the trailer still sitting in my yard. All in all, horrible service.

This place is awful!!

Do not buy from this place, he has been 3 months getting our place done. We didn't get keys for a month,Mike is super nice until after you sign a contract. Then he won't fix anything or even return calls, hangs up on people and cusses them out. Not professional at all! Stay away from this dealer!!! Unless you want to throw your money away
