To say that we were disappointed in our experience with Hill Custom Homes, LLC, would be an understatement. I wish I didn't even have to provide a rating with one star. We received poor communication, poor customer service and poor craftsmanship. They blamed everyone else for their mistakes and we received a multitude of excuses. It took at least 4 months past their original completion date to finish the job and corners were clearly cut to finally meet even that date. We will never use them again and will certainly never recommend them to anyone else in the future! Do yourself a favor and find someone else!

Update: Because of my review, this company threatened an embarrassing response. We continue to be frustrated in our dealings with this company. We are extremely saddened by this entire experience. We are still having issues with the work completed at our home, which they have refused to fix.

Hill Custom Homes, Clayton built our custom home a few years back, from our design to placing it into the hand of the architect, then to the ground work and construction, and many nights back and fourth with my wife and myself in making sure to meet our design, for the custom finish home we have today, My wife and myself over the years value his friendship and Hill's honesty when it has came to our home and other projects that we have called Hill to discuss, and work with.

Clay Hill did two difficult renovations for me in my office: one in 2012 and the other in 2013. When he has a window of time, I will have him do a third.



Each time, I outlined the project, gave him the plans from the architect and he laid out a plan of attack. I knew what was happening and going to happen at all times. When items beyond the contract arose, we discussed them, made decisions and moved forward. Clay has the character to tell the truth, even if you do not want to hear it, and then he helps solve the problem he has pointed out. That is the nature of a renovation job and he is good at it. His word was good as gold. The quality of the work was excellent. I am happy to have my clients see what he did.



I would give Clay my highest recommendation.
