Do NOT give them your credit card information, no matter what they say.

My husband thought I might want to do this, so he gave them my card number to reserve a price and was told it would be a monthly membership only if I came in to sign paperwork for the actual membership.after seeing charges on my credit card I found their location and went in. They tried showing me membership papers that they put my name on, but they weren't even signed so it was irrelevant. They are making me feel like a liar, but they confirmed their system also says I never used any services they claim I signed up for. Diane, a district manager who explained she was the top person in charge and had zero supervisors agreed to refund 38$ and could give me store credit for the rest, but I was charged over 90$ total over 2 months and have no interest in tanning or their lotion. I never signed up for anything or bought anything, I didn't even know where the business was located. Beware! This business is very sketchy. I would not give them your card for any reason. They are not BBB accredited either, that should tell you something.

I have tanned at 6 different salons in lexington and gilbert area...palm beach tan has def been the best experience of them all! It is always so clean. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Im always greeted with a smile. Their prices are def best in town and i LOVE their sun angel bed! You have to try that bed when you visit! They are always trying to sell me new products, but they are very informative on these products and arent pushy, which i like. The assistant manager there recently talked me into trying the spray tan, (ive had a horrible experience @ ultra tan in the past.) I AM ADDICTED! I didnt realize i could get such a great color from a spray tan! She explained everything so well and my tan was perfect! Never tanning anywhere else in lexington again!

I had to go to the doctor after my experience at this tanning salon. This is my first review I've ever written. I'm not one to complain, but my experience there was scary and affected my health to the point where I feel that I post about it. The staff told me that they had just replaced the bulbs with extra voltage, but not to worry. I went to the lowest level and stayed less than a ten minutes there. That night, I had the worse pain in my life. I stayed up all night in excruciating pain and the doctor told me that I was (to some degree) electrocuted. I had to take medicine for the pain and to relax my muscles. He said it was probably because of the bulbs they replaced and that the staff should have waited before immediately allowing clients to go in. I've gone to tanning beds my whole life and this was the first time i've ever experienced something like this, anywhere. Just be careful when choosing tanning salons. My health was at major risk and I wouldn't wish this upon anyone. Do not go to Palm Beach Tan in Lexington.
