History of GE Williams GE Williams Furniture was established in September of 1969 by Goy E. Williams and his wife Mary. Goy had a background in TV sales and repair and service, however Mary had always wanted a Furniture store. They started with 5, 000 square feet on East Church street carrying a complete line of furniture, electronics, and appliances. The business has grown to over 30, 000 sq ft as well as adding about 15, 000 sq ft in warehouse space. In 1999 they added a Radio Shack franchise inside their store. Goy and Mary have since retired and their daughter Judy Moody and her husband Harvey have taken over the reins. They carry on with the tradition Mr. Goy started of treating customers honestly, fairly, and keeping prices low.GE Williams has a very talented decorator department and has won awards in many area home shows.GE Williams has free delivery on most items and will meet or beat any price on Furniture, appliances, or electronics.
