We had a horrible experience with Big Trout Lodge Apartments / Greystar. My review exceeds the character maximum but the whole review is on Google reviews. You should also go check out their report with the BBB (it's a very big, not surprising F) : http://www.bbb.org/western-washington/business-reviews/property-management/greystar-in-seattle-wa-37003464
It was disgusting when moving in, it took months to get someone to fix our leaking dishwasher, they illegally towed our car and they are now trying to charge us a carpet cleaning fee of $1500 after three employees including maintenance told us our apartment was in great condition and we would be getting money BACK! Now we are having a hard time finding somewhere else to rent as they show up on our rental history (after a decade of positive rental history). If you read other reviews online you can see this is a common occurrence with them. I would recommend RUNNING the other way to someplace else!

I just moved from Big Trout Lodge and the entire year we spent there was a nightmare. We had to walk across the complex to get to our apartment due to inadequate parking availability. The management and maintenance crew never took care of many repair requests we had made. (Dryer not working properly, electrical issues, etc.) We also had a small chihuahua that had peed in the apartment (always cleaned up so there were no stains) and they are now charging us almost $1400 to replace a 1 year old carpet for "pet stains" and the carpet being dirty from normal walking traffic. I would not recommend this complex to ANYONE who wants to be treated fairly by their landlords.

Lived here and always paid my rent on time. I switched Jobs and payday is on the 5th (because it's a commission job and it's impossible to complete payroll in four days with a weekend in the middle. They're rent is due on the 4th so they served me with an eviction notice and notice to vacate. Then they tacked on another $75 late fee and $25 processing fee to make things so much better! To top it off we had our dryer not working for almost two weeks and finally got someone to come look at it. A week after we figured out he didn't really fix it, we finally got a replacement. Then the dishwasher timer went out which took a solid week to fix as well. When asked for a screen door that worked properly (while the dryer was getting supposedly fixed) He brought a replacement and left in on the porch for over a week until I called several times to get it installed. So all I can say about this place is if you want customer service and rental pleasure.......seek elsewhere and avoid at all costs! The management is rude and disrespectful!!
