Provided by YP.comOwner's response to Joy-the day review written we called to offer refund. Customer had started charge back process already. When customer came to pick up comleted job we found out sales clerk had written instructions wrong. We offered to redo all rings and in the interim, sales clerk quit. The jeweler is running 2 stores with one jeweler and one salesperson and due to our large volume of work, we were behind in our custom. Our apologies have been given for lack of service as well as an offer to have $500 over original purchase price in store credit. This was declined by customer and refund offered on Aug. 29th. We are in the process of hiring another jeweler to help us with our large custom and repair work load. We regret this incident and will improve our service times.

Provided by YP.comBEWARE - Ordered and paid for on June 1, 2013 custom rings with a promised date of four weeks. As of today, three deadlines have come and gone and I'm still not in possession of the rings.
On the second visit, which I was assured the rings would be ready, the custom designed rings were not as I had specified. The clerk and designer spent 15 minutes trying to convince me I was wrong.
In the end, the designer said he knew the rings were not designed as ordered. The final deadline given to me at that time was August 15th.
I contacted the store and talked to clerk the week of 19th informing her that the final deadline was not met and I wanted my money returned. As of today and several phone calls with Kevin, the owner and designer, I haven't received a refund nor are the rings ready for pickup. If fact after stating that I was going to dispute the charges, Kevin informed me that I could do that BUIT that he always wins disputes. Is this called bullying your customers? What could have been a wonderful experience has turned into a nightmare.

Provided by YP.comwe recently bought a very expensive engagement ring and they gave us a great deal on the ring and it is very beautiful!! However, when we originally bought it my fiance's ring finger was sized to a size 5 and she had explained she had just surgery and she always wore a 4. Even though her finger was sized at a 5 when she put it on it was a 5 and a quarter. So a quarter bigger so she went back in and this was 2 weeks later because that is when we got the ring and she was sized at a 4. we assumed because of the surgery her finger the first time was sized at a 5. Ok so they re-sized it they took it down to 4 and three quarters even though she was sized at a 4 and said she wanted it to be a 4. Third time we go back in because it once again is still to big and he says he is going to charge her this time? So we say ok assuming because we just paid alot for this ring it wont be much?...while sizing the ring he knocks out 6 stones and has to reset them. Long story short he charged us to re-size the ring and reset the stones he knocked out while doing it? it was $85!! When he messed up the ring size when we went back the 2nd time ? He was suppose to size it to a 4 and didn't and then charge me for that and to fix the stones he knocked out!! I am now not impressed with their customer service at the liberty location and will never be going back when I had planed to buy several other things!
Dear Mr. Anthofer I just have to respond to this letter for a number of reasons. First we sized you fiance's finger here in the store from her actual finger - this is the only accurate way to get a size. Secondly people's bodies will fluctuate daily, monthly, seasonally, etc. Just as your fiance's body was affected by previous surgery. Because of this we try to get as accurate and close a finger size as possible for the first sizing. We also do not charge for the first sizing. We do usually charge for any additional sizings after the first. We made an exception for you in this case by not charging for the 2nd size - because of the surgery and we strive for good customer service. However the third time was well beyond our normal free policy. Now as far as the stones falling out - you were informed ahead of time that everytime you size a ring down you run the risk of stones falling out. We did NOT "knock out six of your stones"only TWO fell out and were reset free of charge to you. We did charge however, for tightening all of the stones so that they would not fallout after you had left the store. We are one of the few jewelry stores around that guarantee's its repairwork for one year! So now with that said how can we rectify your misgivings about us? Well I am willing to make one more exception for you. I will credit the $85 spent on sizing and tightening to be put towards any future purchase in either of our stores. This way there won't be any questions about the level of customer service we are willing to provide. Sincerely, Kevin P. Weaver, Owner- The Polished Edge Fine Jewelry

Provided by YP.comI had a watch that required a new band. It had a history that each time a new band is put on, would have issues. I worked with Heather at The Polished Edge and she helped to find a better band for the watch itself. The service given and received well exceeded my expectations. If you want a watch or jewelry fixed, definitely the place I have and will continue to go to.

Provided by YP.comI went into The Polished Edge looking for a very specific Pandora charm that I wasn't sure even existed. They knew immediately what I was talking about and where to find it. I had found exactly what I wanted, paid for it, and was out the door in about 10 minutes! If I hadn't been in a hurry, I would have loved to looked around the store more. The service was friendly and prompt, the store was easy to find, and I will happily return for all my jewelry needs. Thanks Polished Edge!
