I came across Libertyville Music while I was searching for a guitar tech that had the chops to work on good instruments and wouldn't keep me waiting for weeks or charge something ridiculous. I found my tech at Libertyville Music. They have worked on both my Martin and Mossman acoustics, my Tele, my banjo, Dobro and set-up my 50 year old (Tut Taylor) Ode mandolin so it sounds better than it ever has. The staff at Libertyville Music is the only repair techs that touch my instruments. They have never overcharged or suggested work that wasn't needed for myself or anyone that I have sent to them.Over the years several of my students have gone to the store, on my reccomendation, and recieved service that is well beyond what I've seen elsewhere. One particular case came when a banjo student purchased a Dearing banjo from a well-known store in Chicago. They lied to her about the age of the instrument and it's condition. That service was so bad that she took the banjo to Libertyville M

THE ONLY COMMENT I HAVE IS THAT LIBERTYVILLE MUSIC HAS THE MOST COURTIOUS PEOPLE I'VE KNOWN. THEY ACTUALLY RESURECTED MY AMP FROM THE DEAD. OUR BAND THE NASHVILLE SOUND IS COMING OUT OF RETIREMENT AND WENT TO USE MY AMP AND ALL I HAD WAS STATIC AND NO SOUND. TOOK IT IN FOR REPAIR, AND THEY WERE ABLE TO REPAIR IT. NOW IT WORKS BETTER THAN IT DID WHEN I PURCHASED IT IN 1965. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS MUSIC CENTER TO ANYONE WHO WANTS PROFESSIONAL WORK DONE ON ANY INSTRUMENT. MY PEDAL STEEL HAS NEVER SOUNDED BETTER. THANK YOU AND ALL THE STAFF AT LIBERTYVILLE MUSIC
