These people are hideous. They have no conception of customer service. I used them for a move from the Chicago area back to the east coast and left some belongings in storage with them for 18 months. When I tried to schedule them to move the remainder out to the east coast, I spoke to someone named "Joe" who had absolutely no idea what a customer is. None whatsoever. He never called me back to confirm dates or estimates. He also sent nothing in writing. When the truck arrived, it was only THEN that I was told they needed a cashier's check or they'd charge me 5% if I used a credit card. Oh, and the actual bill was $400 more than the verbal estimate they gave me. Hideous.

I HAVE MOVED THRUOGH MY COMPANY ABOUT 9 TIMES AND ALL HAVE BEEN PAID FOR BY THE COMPANY. THIS RECENT MOVE FROM CHICAGO TO DALLAS WAS PAID FOR BY MYSELF AND FAMILY. THE ESTIMATE I GOT WAS HIGHER THAN A COUPLE OTHER ESTIMATES, BUT I JUST FELT MORE COMFORTABLE WITH SHURWAY. THE GOOD NEWS WAS THAT WHEN THEY WEIGHED THE TRUCK IT WAS LESS WEIGHT AND THE PRICE CAME DOWN. IT IS JUST NICE TO SEE THAT THERE ARE HONEST PEOPLE STILL OUT THERE.
