Having lived in Virginia my whole life I never new what a Chicago Hot Dog was...until I walked in Slotts Hots



My son was graduating from the Navy Boot camp nearby and we drove by Slotts Hots three times always thinking it would be a good place to spot...now I wish we had stopped all three times



The hot dogs were cooked until chared and nestled in a roll with all the ingrediants that made it taste like heaven sent. So now we were introduced to Chicago hot dogs and decided to see what they were like other places.



We went to three hot dog stands in Chicago itself only to find poor immiations of the dogs at Slott's. Five stars for a five star hot dog!!
