I visited this bead supply store two years ago at Christmas time and was so impressed by this huge selection!

A few minutes ago I visited for the second time and took longer to look around and realized the owner is a fantastic beader, jewelry maker and artist!

She was very helpful extremely friendly and gosh what talent!

She has beading since she was seven years old and it really shows...

She was teaching two people at the time I arrived but took a moment here and there to make suggestions and help me with my selection.

She was flattered that I had returned to her store after two years back in my home state.

I am going to try to make time tomorrow the last day of our vacation to attend one of her classes.

This is one of those places kids are NOT welcome and can't touch anything. uptight and unwelcoming vibe; have a fair selection but you have to buy whole strands of beads. Not good fir small project. Look for alternatives & a friendly owner instead!

Bead & Art is a nice shop. I've been in 3 times and I have always been promptly greeted and assisted. The 1st time I was able to get everything I needed. The last two times, however, the beads I needed were out of stock--and they were basics, like clear seed beads. I really want to be able to shop locally for supplies but it's tough when the basics aren't available. Ended up driving out west to Michael's and also ordering from online supplier.
