I've read the other two reviews and found them both terribly wrong. My wife and I have spent the last two winters here and plan on continuing to do so. If you are looking for a place that has room service, and continous activity, this is not the place. However, if you want a quiet, friendly location, where you start to feel like family after a very short time, then this is it.

As far as the cat situation, there was a gentleman that had several, and fed all the strays. When this was happening, there were scores of feral cats that needed to be controlled. The animals were trapped, neutered, and some were possibly relocated, but these are not pets. And this is the most pet friendly place in have ever been. The other reviews are erroneous.

Horrible, animal hating owners. When one of the permanent residents had to be hospitalized, and had a neighbor caring for his cats, the KOA owner's son took it upon himself to trap the cats, haul them off and dump them in Florida. These were pets that had been neutered, were loved and well cared for.

Don't stay here!!!!

We stayed for two days our cabin was very small for the cost and dirty. Bathrooms were unclean and showers were broken no door knob on one and a screw in the other to operate the shower. No customerservice very rude. Main bath house had mold in showers and on shower curtain. Worst stay ever!!!

Ants!

Extremely disappointed. The first night we were there, we discovered tons of ant in out Kamping Kottage. We did as much as we could being later at night. The next day we reported it to the office. They assured us someone would be out to take care of it. We left for the day and came back late at night assuming the did as they said they would. I woke up in the middle of the night itched and covered in ant bites. Definitely not very pleasant.
