Incredible

We love Watch Communications.

We live in our travel trailer for 7-8 months out of the year. It's permanently parked at a campground. We were unable to get internet because cable companies only offer TV service to campers. We prefer Amazon Prime and Hulu. Cell phone service was iffy. I kept our cells against a window so we could get calls and to search for internet providers. (Poster Putty works great for this purpose!)

I found Watch Communications through an internet search. I called them on a Friday and after all the details were worked out we had internet service the next week. It works great. Through rain, clouds, snow and sunshine it works (much better than satellite).

We have cell phones and laptops. The day after the installation, I had both cell phones connected, my laptop connected and the television connected. No lag! Plus we have nine grandkids and on any given weekend two or three are here. No problem.

Thank you Watch Communications! I am a technical writer and researcher. I can't function without the internet! ❣️😉

Horrible company

This company took over my old ISP called Onlyinternet. The service did get better, but now it's starting to deteriorate. Tech support is utterly useless, because they rely on the "tower team" to look for issues. Of course they never find anything, and they say the pings and speed look fine. Meanwhile you're paying $71.99 a month, for 3mb down. Ya, 3mb down for that price is ridiculous, and to top it off, you'll only be getting half that speed during prime time hours. You can try to game on this service, but it will only lead to frustration, and a lot of swearing. There's better options out there, do not give this company your hard-earned money.

Update 8/25/2018:
So they finally contacted me, and told me my connection is at "best effort"... What? With no plans to upgrade. So, $71.99 a month for slow speeds, and high pings. Ya this company is a scam. All they want to do is milk existing small towers until they can shut them down. What a fantastic company.

Update 12/6/2018:
Banned from their Facebook for posting something they didn't like. HAHA , solid company. Same crap service as before.

Be Careful Doing Business with this Company (They stole money out of my bank account!)

I canceled my service with this company by phone. My husband and I have many transactions going in and out of our bank account due to our business. It took some time to realize Watch Communications continued to draw money from our bank account after we canceled. Watch Communications wrote a rude email stating they will only reimburse us if we can prove we canceled. So, if you're a current customer and plan to cancel your services, I would recommend going to their office and getting proof of cancellation, then watch your bank account closely. They will steal your money if they can get away with it.

i wish there was something less than 1 star

ive never had more than a 1 bar connection in any game. Gave them a review on website, they tell you to call them and then will say that they cant do anything about that. Why call then, why not just say sorry our internet doesnt work right.

Stay Away From Watch!

I had Watch for almost 3 years, with NOTHING but problems! Customer Service is terrible with a "we couldn't care less attitude" every time. The straw that broke the back was a full month of next to NO SERVICE with the excuse that another Company had exceeded the allowed tower adaptations which was then interfering with Watch's customers' service....all while the customers went with NO service! BUT Watch continued to charge the normal fee, while just saying they'd "put the credit request in for review to billing department". But did nothing- just like the internet service - nothing! So I wised up & called Blaze Wi-Fi which provides HughesNet Internet Service & have had beautiful service from them! Watch Communications should be OUT of Business & not allowed to scam the customers!

Worst internet provider ever!

I work from home on my computer so before we moved I asked them to check our address to verify if they could give us a reliable signal. I work between 8 - 12 hours a day at least 5 days a week. I have them as my provider for 3 1/2 months and I'm getting daily/ weekly emails from my supervisors because I can only manage to get 5 - 7 hours of work done per day that takes me 12 + hours to achieve because of the rocky connection. I've called them multiple times reporting the problems and that they aren't keeping their guarantee that I would have a reliance signal for my work. I'm about to lose my employment because of these issues. DO NOT TRUST THEIR WORD OR THEIR INTERNET. I truly don't understand how they are still in business.

Misleading Reviews

I'm assuming these people who give this place 5 stars either work there or just trying to suck up for some discounts. I'm gonna lay out an honest review.

I've had these guys now for about 4 years and have to say this internet service is so rocky it's hard to believe they even still are in the internet business.

Outages and slow speeds are so common, I've almost forgot what it was like to have descent internet. There's times I could be browsing the net or streaming some music, then BAM, loss of internet, sometimes a few times every day or if I'm lucky, every other day. You just never know what to expect.

Now, I know my review may come off as harsh or even unfair but I really think someone needs to educate people better before they get into business with these guys.

The biggest thing you need to consider before getting service with Watch is the cost of their service. Right now my bill sits at about 80 bucks a month for download speeds of 5 mbps. How does this translate to real life download speeds? About 350KB/s which is what you will actually see when downloading off the net. Sounds good right?

Well, consider this. Those were speeds that cable internet offered about 15, 16 years ago. Why they can't offer faster speeds without raping your wallet is beyond me. I know they'll say it's because their towers are overloaded and blah blah, but speed download speed tests on my Verizon phone at any time of the day, which also uses towers, gives me download speeds fron 1.5MB/s to 2.0MB/s. And I'm sure there's probably 1000's of people using the towers, so I don't think that excuse works so well.

Now maybe some people are content with outages all the time and slow speeds, but what do you do when you have a family with kids who frequently use the net to play games or do social media or GASP, do schools research. Well ,you're pretty well screwed. People in my house are constantly fighting over bandwidth on this crap because if someone tries to use the internet while another person is on, you might as well be ready to wait for pages to load up like it was dial up. It's very frustrating.

I guess when you're the only internet provider in the countryside, you can charge whatever you want because people will either suck it up or just go without. Well ,that's not really the kind of attitude you want to have if you plan on being in this business for long, because in due time, another company is going to come into the area and smash you out of business if they offer something better for a more competitive price, but by that point, the damage may already be done and no upgrading your towers to give better speeds will pull people back in, especially if the bad word is already out there. Come on Watch, it's 2016, not 2002. The world is moving forward and so is technology, how about you?

STAY AWAY!

Stay away from these people at all costs. This is by far the worst ISP I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They don't provide nearly the speeds you pay them for, the internet is in and out all of the time, and regular latency spikes of 1,000 or more make it impossible to actually relax and play a video game or watch Netflix. The only reason this company even still exists is because no one else is available in my area. Any time you call tech support it's always a problem with the tower's being too busy, which is no ones fault but their own. If they know they can't handle the traffic they need to upgrade to actually provide the service they are billing people for. The second Google or Time Warner make service available where I live this company will go Out of Business, which is what they deserve. Their entire business model is based on over billing and under serving the customer. The tech support just plays cup tricks by bouncing you from one laggy tower to another just to have the same problems over and over again. This isn't a new issue, it's been going on for the 5+ years I've been stuck with them. When I lived in Dayton I had Time Warner and I have literally been emailing them begging them to extend service down my road. These people should be in jail for their thievery and I really hope they end up there. I would give them 0 stars but I can't.

love watch communications

Shocked at other reviews. I have never had any problems with tech... they have always been there for me. And the area I'm in ... Verizon can't touch it. Thanks watch for being there for me!

Terrible internet service

Constantly dropping service. Every time I call they are either working on the tower in my area or its a high volume time. Terrible service for 59.99 a month I should only be paying about $15 a month for the time I actually get to use the service.

Worst service and customer service

I started receiving service when I was told the apartments I moved into were in contract with Watch. If I had known I didn't have a choice in a provider, I would have never moved here. First problem was with billing. I asked for the 39.99 internet. Every month I get charged an additional $5 for a "protection plan." I haven't paid it...but I asked on each bill what this was for...no response, they just keeping adding and carrying over these $5 charges. Second problem...my service is constantly cutting in and out, or no service at all. I've called numerous times just for them to say there is no trouble on their end. I did get answer on the $5 charges...to cover expenses when they fix things...oddly enough, they don't fix anything! The last time I called, I had no service. I called twice when a recording would say I was next in line yet on hold for over 20 minutes. A guy finally answers, asks for my information, then tells me there is no record of me! A paying customer and they don't even know who I am??? The next day, my service was on again, of course in and out. I thought between the notes I leave on my bill or the bad experience of no service and they didn't know who I was, I'd receive a phone call. Nope. Just another bill that keeps adding $5. I was going to get basic cable until a few people told me that when you have internet, the basic cable is already there, yet they charge people for it! What a shady business! I'd rather pay for an expensive internet card versus dealing with a company like this!

Watch Communications Internet review

I have had Watch Communications now for almost two years. I have to say for the service I receive it's the best. I've had no problems with the service, and the one time I called tech support the man was very helpful and went out of his way to explain everything. I have nothing against the people in India, but it’s so nice to call Watch Tech Support and get someone right in OH and you can understand them very well. They are very customer service orientated.
