If you're thinking about choosing them for your storage needs, BEWARE!!!!!!! Management is shortsighted, argumentative, and obstinate about their contradictory policies.

When I moved in over a year ago, I was charged a prorated amount for the month + also paid a full month in advance for the next month. It was a big payment.

After 12 months my rent was increased by 7%. I don't know why, it's storage space! It's not an apartment building that needs maintenance and upkeep. But I paid the increase without argument.

4 days before I'm moving my things out I finally got someone on the phone, who told me they have a 7-day policy to quit BUT I am still required to pay a full month of rent because they do not accept partial payments. They take no heed that I've been trying to get in contact with someone for more than 30 days, including 2 trips to the office during business hours and multiple phone calls. The manager told me it was my fault I hadn't reached them.

They want 7-days notice AND a full month of rent. They have threatened to double lock my unit because I made a partial, pro rated payment instead of paying for a full month I won't use.

This begs the question, why did I pay a partial month's payment when I moved in, but now that I'm moving out I owe for a full month?
Also, what's the point of a 7-day notice to quit the space if three more weeks of payment are due?

I have tried in many different ways to reach them to let them know that I would be leaving early.
1) They don't return phone calls (The manager, Michael, had the audacity to insist that he did return phone calls, even though in over a year he has never returned even one of mine).
2) They don't have an email address where I can email them to ask questions and confirm details.
3) I've stopped by the office during business hours and no one is in there.

This management team is blatantly, gleefully, ignorantly, self righteously F***ing with me and staunchly refusing to work with me on a solution.

I had my almost my whole house hold in this storage facility for only 3 months. When I went to get it and move into my new place it was full of mice! I had to trash all my couches, beds, boxes of clothes and bedding, and my children's toys. I called to try and get them to send an exterminator to my new home and they told me that it is summer and they can't help me. Thanks for the mice and an extra new bill. What a nightmare!
