Called about 2007 Chevy Aveo said boss and had engine light on. I review Car Fax almost pewfect. May reschedule test drive after a little digging on this ...You can scan the computer for the computer code and it could be the start in identifying & diagnostics of what part of the system is having a problem

I am writing you because I found your posts when I did a search on Class Action Suits against Chevrolet for the Aveo Timing Belt issue. We were sold a 2004 used and a 2007 new, both of which I own today, and both have the same engine. A week ago at 53,000 mi., the 2004's belt broke, and I assume from my own mechanic, who has done work for Chevrolet dealers for years, that the engine has also collapsed into itself! Who ever heard of that?! The manual states that it must be '"inspected at 30,000 mi." We purchased it at 39,000, and were told that the dealer who sold it to us "knew the car had been well taken care of, and all maintenance was up to date". This, by the way, is not a standard type of maintenance on a car.

in 2008, I bought a 2007 Chevy Aveo with 1700 miles on it. At 62000 miles, the timing belt broke, causing engine damage. There is a drive train warranty on it. The Chevy dealer I took it to told me that the timing belt is a maintenance item, and it should have been replaced at 60,000 miles. Since I didn't do that, they would not honor the warranty. I spoke to GM, and they told me the same thing. Yvonne from GM told me that I was not considered a loyal GM customer, or they would have honored it. I owe $5000 on the car; it is worth $3000. And it will take at least $2000 to fix it.

I had the car towed twice, once to get it off the freeway where it broke down and once to the dealership. My wife missed several hours worth of work, and we are now paying an extra $10 a day for gas in our mini-van to get to work. The engine damage will cost $2000 to repair. We don't have the money to get it repaired, or to have it towed home even.2005 Chevy Aveo #1 PROBLEM: the clutch. Additional Problems: Car brakes TOO easily. All parts have to be ordered. Built to Brake. Lemon. Yearly clutch replacement. Over-charging for service. No Customer Service. $1800 last June. now they want $1200 for another clutch replacement. i want to sue them for manufacturer defect

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, but did not pressure me into a sale. 100% honest about the car, any repairs, and very willing to give me a great deal! They worked with me to get me into my perfect car, as well as get me a good interest rate on my auto loan. I would reccommend them to anyone, and they will definitely be my first stop when I look for my next vehicle!

They had the car we were looking for. They were friendly and helpful. They communicated promptly with us and there were no surprises except the comfortable leather couch and warm fireplace in their lounge area.

I have purchased two vehicles from B&D and when I am ready for another I will go there first. Honest people who stand behind what they sell and with very fair prices.

So I bought a Car from them about a year ago. First day i got it the engine coolant was coming form the expansion tank. Then the drive axle breaks. so just in the first month where in to about $800. I had the car about a year now and its been about $5000 in repairs. The only thing i can say good about this place is that the detail people they uses are really good. If you have to buy a car from them get a extended warranty.
