Street Maintenance Operations is a division of the Public Works Department, which is governed by the City of Lincoln & Lancaster County in Nebraska. It maintains a fleet of more than 1,000 vehicles, such as cars, utility trucks, tractors and mowers. Street Maintenance Operations issues block party permits and provides snow removal services. In addition, the division manages traffic signals, cameras and signs. It offers street sweeping and cleaning solutions. Street Maintenance Operations also keeps the record of traffic volumes.
