These people are wonderful! My faucet was leaking and they didn't even need to come out. I sent a picture and Mark suggested that it might be the hose connection. He was right. Next time I need a plumber I won't even think twice before I call them.

We have been using Mark's Plumbing since 1998 and have had many projects done at our house. The service professionals are very courteous and efficient. We have also had a few emergency needs for a plumber and they have always come out and helped us out during these times. I feel that their work has always been excellent and their charges fair. We will continue to us Mark's Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs. Plus, I love that they are a smaller family run company locally owned and operated. Sandy S

I have been using Mark's plumbing for many years now, most recently for installing a new hot water heater. They arrived on time and did excellent professional work, and the bill was as estimated. On 2 occasions in the past they have installed new showers in bathrooms being remodeled plus toilets and sinks. I have been very satisfied with their work and their communication and prices. I highly recommend Mark's Plumbing.

I first called mark’s plumbing to fix a leaking shower that the previous owners had installed incorrectly. While doing some renovations in the basement, I decided to have a new laundry sink installed, with new water supply lines and a new drain line. I called mark’s plumbing again, because I had been satisfied with the job they had done the last time with the shower. While the technician was fixing the shower, I asked him for an estimate for installing just the new supply and drain lines. He said it would probably be about 2 hours of labor, and would be about $180-$200. On the Friday that they were to come do the installation at 11 am, they called me at 2 pm to say that they would be there at 2:45. They finally showed up at 3:15 and said that they had to go pick up their truck from getting serviced before they would start. So finally at 3:45 on Friday afternoon they started the project. In the estimate, the technician indicated that they would place a new fitting on some existing copper lines for the washing machine and run new copper to the sink. While at my house, the two plumbers, one of which was a plumbing in training, said that they couldn’t install it that way because they didn’t have the necessary fittings. So they said they would have to do a longer run of pex material, which I didn’t really want, but I didn’t want to be charged for an additional service call, so I agreed. At almost exactly 5:00 pm, they finished the job, which ended up looking unprofessional to say the best. The two new shutoff valves that they installed were different sizes, the pvc drain line they replaced for the washing machine was left unsecured to the wall, they had used two different connectors to tie the pex lines to the existing copper, presumably because they didn’t have 2 of the same fittings, the adapter for the new drain was left unattached to the pipe they installed, and the project as a whole was left looking very hurried and carelessly done, because of the time constraint on a Friday afternoon. The following Monday I called Mark’s and asked them to come out and replace the shutoff valve that was they incorrect size. I figured that if the project indeed stayed close to estimate, I would be happy, and chalk it up to “getting what you pay for.” When I got the bill, however, I was not happy! Without any explanation of charges, they sent me an invoice for $389! Twice the estimate! And for only an hour and 15 minutes of work! Word to the wise, DO NOT USE MARK’S PLUMBING! They did not provide professional service, did not do what I wanted done, and charged me more than what it would have cost me to use a more reputable plumber.
