I appreciate service when I patronize any business. The service I received at Ace Hardware (945 S. 27th, Lincoln) Friday (March 10) was very easily 5 star. I went to the store upon being told the previous day that I could get my lamp repaired there. (Needed a new switch.) The gentleman that helped told me the store would not be able to do the actual repair, but could sell me one of several different new switches for it. Long story short, the employee (don't know his name; I'd guess he's in his late 50s or early 60s) proceeded to spend at least half an hour putting on the new switch. He was polite throughout, even excused himself during the process to help other customers. When it was all done, I offered to pay something for the labor. He politely declined and just asked me to tell others about this store.

I most certainly will! Excellent service.
